The Daily Reel

Lily Evans:
1. Is in the common room studying when Alice swings by. Lily has always been certain that neither of Gideon's sisters (and her roommates) like her, so she does her best to be polite at least. Much to Lily's surprise, she and Alice bond a little over an unexpected shared love of action movies (a guilty pleasure of Lily's) and they make plans to watch them together at some point. Lily is happier than she lets on to finally feel like one of her boyfriend's siblings doesn't hate her.

2. Having taken the book Potter gave her for Christmas out to the grounds to read (mostly so she won't be seen reading it like she would if she stayed in the common room), Lily is joined by Severus. She's surprised, confused, and even a little angry; they haven't spoken in months and it frustrates her that he thinks he can just walk up and sit next to her to read. Conversation is very limited and stilted, and finally Lily cracks and tells her ex best friend she doesn't want him near her. Disappointed, Sev leaves Lily alone. Lily realises how much she misses Sev, how she misses having someone to talk to so openly, and she can't help crying a little even though she tries not to. Sadface.

Molly Prewett:
1. Is very happy to be getting out of Mya's head.

2. Hangs with Gideon in the kitchens, feeding him pork chops and mashed potatoes because that's what Mama Bear does. Mostly they're just spending quality time together. (scene ongoing)

3. Comes across Griffin Savage belting up targets in a little used hallway while checking out a rumoured shortcut. Being Molly, she stops to chat. Finn and Molly are worlds apart, but she's curious and talkative and not easily discouraged, and to Finn's surprise she has yet to walk away. (scene ongoing)

I haven't done this in so long!

Angelina Johnson:
1. Meets Jack, for the second time, and agrees to eat with him (he wants a date, but she's got something to prove - you have to work for her) in the Great Hall. They agree on the following Tuesday, because she has to 'fit him in to her busy schedule'. She's not great at playing hard to get...
2. On her way to meeting Jack, she bumps into Reya (Audrey), who drags her into a corner of the corridor and 'fixes' her clothes so she is Reya's version of presentable. She might not agree, or particularly like it, but it works.
3. After eating with Jack (and many sarcastic comments about Ravenclaw winning the Quidditch Cup this year - so not going to happen), she finally agrees to let him take her to Hogsmeade and the Three Broomsticks for a drink. He seems excited, and she is, but she's not really admitting it to herself yet, let alone anyone else.

Gideon Prewett:
1. Is snuck into the Prefects Bathroom by Lily, where they proceed to bathe, then get dirty before they have to clean themselves again. >.>
2. Bumps into Molly, on one of his many quests to the kitchen for food for his ever-empty stomach. They proceed to catch up and sample one of Ted's grandma's recipes. (scene ongoing)

Victoire Weasley-Delacour:
1. While in the common room, she meets Draco, who is perfectly civil to her until he realises who she is, before making stupid and snide (and frankly, childish) comments and walking out. She is a little insulted, but brushes it off.
2. After he leaves, cousin Al comes into the Common Room, so they have a lovely nice chat about life, and everything, and Al's boyfriend, and Victoire transferring, and other such things.
3. A few days later, she is reading her favourite book (Alice in Wonderland) - both for fun and to practice her French - in the CR when Jesse comes and introduces himself. She really quite likes him, and is also a little amused at his determine to be amazing at his future job. She respects that.
4. While heading out of the library after a study session, she runs into her sister, Dominique, at the main desk, and they proceed to catch up as this is the first time they've seen each other since Victoire transferred. (scene ongoing)

Evan Rosier:
1. Is not being written atm because it's just too disturbing for Mya and Nikki... but Evan is still beating Andi and forcing her into violent and degrading sex.

Molly Prewett:
1. Hangs out with Kingsley. They make a game of animating paper animals even though the dragon and the lion don't get along very well. The dragon wins...

Hermione Granger:
1. Hangs with AJ and is excited to learn about AJ's date with Jack. In the vein of deciding to throw herself into her studies, she's working on animal transfiguration and turns a mouse into a fish. She's now keeping it as a pet, and is going to make AJ one too.

2. In the Library, Hermione meets Remus Lupin when he bumps into her. She's immediately taken with his eyes -she doesn't even notice the scars on his face- and they embark on an awkward and adorable conversation. OMG REMIONE *spaz spaz spaz* (scene ongoing)

Lily Evans:
1. Still moping over her confusion at Severus renewing contact with her, Lily is joined by Ted in the Great Hall. She's amused and intrigued when he can't stop talking about Andromeda Black, and he spends a lot of time comforting her about Sev. The conversation keeps turning back to Andi and Lily can't resist teasing Ted about his apparent crush. When it becomes clear that Lily's jokes about said crush are hitting too close to home, she stops messing around. She's sad for Ted, who clearly has no hope for ever being with Andi because of her boyfriend, her family, and her attitude towards blood status.

Marlene McKinnon:
1. Has totally been here the whole time. Well, no, not really...

2. Marlene is having a smoke on the dock when she's joined by Ted. She's unfriendly and unwelcoming, but he's persistent. Despite a few snaps at him, they have a conversation and establish that she's not particularly optimistic and very jaded. It's not until the giant squid shows, and Marlene forgets that Ted exists while she has a game of catch with squidly that Ted is able to confirm that Marlene does indeed have a softer side. While she is distracted, he sneaks off and leaves her to her game.

3. Taking a walk, Marlene spots Sidney and, thinking she recognises her from somewhere, she goes over to ask who she is. They have a short conversation, but again, Marlene isn't overly friendly and Sidney is quite shy so eventually Sidney returns to reading and Marlene leaves her to it.

Molly Prewett:.
1. Is baking in the kitchens when Arthur joins her. He wants to learn to bake, and she's more than happy to boss him around, so she lets him help her make m&ms cookies, which Mya has been craving ever since. They mostly just talk, and start building a nice little friendship. (scene ongoing)

2. Comes into the girls' dorm while Lily is in there. At first they are distantly polite, but it doesn't last long. A discussion about their Potions assignment turns nasty when Lily points out that Molly's slapdash plans aren't really going to meet the requirements of the assignment. Molly is sick of Lily's perfectionist attitude to everything, and when she makes snide comments about Little Miss Perfect, Lily snaps. Lily usually does her best to keep the peace because she doesn't want to put Gideon in an awkward position, stuck between his girlfriend and his sibling, but she's sick of the dislike from Molly that she really hasn't deserved and she bites back. She calls Molly childish and selfish and that ends up storming out.

3. After that lovely little display, Molly goes into the courtyard to cool off with some knitting. Kingsley finds her, and shows her a letter of offer he's had from the Ministry of Magic. He has the option of graduating early and beginning work there right away, which is essentially all his dreams handed to him on a silver platter. They both realise that the only thing still tying him to Hogwarts at all is Molly, and knowing that this is his dream and the opportunity of a lifetime, she tells him she thinks he should do it. He wants to go, even though he hates the thought of leaving her, but they both know that a long distance relationship is going to end badly sooner or later, so they agree it's best to make a clean break. Molly kisses Kingsley goodbye and walks away to go be sad somewhere else, and Mosley is over. *sniffle*

Lily Evans:
1. Tries to work on her Potions assignment in the common room, but Potter sits next to her. It's the usual dance of he-is-cocky-and-she-is-bitchy-to-him, and when he won't stop leaning back on his chair, she gives it a little kick, sending him backwards to the floor. He grabs her hand to "help himself up" but she is completely unprepared and he pulls her down on top of him. Lily is not amused. Things are snappy as usual, but with James makes a few too many insinuations about Gideon and her relationship, and how she'd be better off with James himself, Lily gets angrier than she's been for a while. The resulting glare scares James half out of his wits and he does some furious backpedaling, begging her to see that he really is sorry and he doesn't mean to push things too far. He's sick of her always assuming the worst of him, she's sick of being made to feel like the worst person in the world because she doesn't like him, and by the time they both leave neither is happy.

2. Lily moves her study to the dorm, but.... see the post above. She and Molly end up in an argument that results in Lily storming off in a rage, and Mya sending her to AJ's head for Gideon to deal with because Mya's brain just is not big enough for two furious gingers trying to murder each other.

Jack Harkness:
1. Is on a lovely date in Hogsmeade with Angelina, but is discovering that she's neither as easy nor as tolerant as most of his dates have been in the past, so he's trying his hardest to be on his very best behaviour. It's almost killing him.... >.>

Marlene McKinnon:
1. Meets Rose Weasley when she snatches a Defence text out from under her nose in the Ravenclaw common room. At first they're a bit standoffish- Marlene isn't friendly and Rose isn't exactly shy about pointing out her rudeness, but they are pretty similarly-tempered and they strike up a good conversation. As scary as the prospect of Mya and Pansy having characters that get along is, a friendship begins to form between the two girls.

2. Hangs with Cho Chang on the dock, tempting her a little to the dark side with cigarettes as Cho is down in the dumps about Rolf. (scene ongoing)

Molly Prewett:
1. Goes to sulk in the Epic Box Fort after breaking up with Kingsley. She has a bowl of cookie dough that's almost as big as she is because she feels like she deserves her comfort food. Gideon joins her, and is very comforting, except for the fact that he insists on taking away her cookie dough and eventually vanishes it altogether. Molly is not amused by that. but she does appreciate him being there for the comfort and the ego boost, and eventually she falls asleep.

2. Molly gets herself some more cookie dough and is sulking away in a hidden alcove when Ted joins her. They talk about the end of Mosley, and also about Ted's situation with Andi, with Ted going from trying to keep the cookie dough away from Molly to sharing it with her.

3. Hangs with Dem in the common room. They catch up and end up falling into a conversation about fashion with lots of joking around. Molly is excited when Dem agrees to making her an outfit.

Hermione Granger:
1. Finds Audrey in the owlery, learns of Audrey's breakup with Neville and comforts her friend. They talk about how amazing magic still is to them, and how they could never go back to living a completely muggle life now that they've been exposed to the magical world.

2. Joins Remus Lupin in the Library as there is space at his study table. He rambles a lot, but she finds she quite likes it, and despite the fact that they are two ridiculously awkward people who don't usually even bother talking to the opposite sex as a rule, they can't seem to stop talking with each other. They plan to study Defence Against the Dart Arts together.

Lily Evans:
1. After having run-ins with both James, and then Molly, Lily goes to the trophy room to have some time out to calm down. Tracey Davis joins her, and is so hilariously stupid that Lily's head almost explodes. Mya nearly died laughing because Amethyst is so hilarious, but Lily did not appreciate the added stress on what was already a bad day.

2. She heads on to the Potions lab from there, because she needs to work on developing a potion for an assignment. She's doing her best, but she is tired and frustrated and stressed so every little thing that goes wrong seems to irritate her. Gideon happens past and joins her, his presence helps calm her a little but Lily is still sufficiently distracted that she accidentally adds an extra dose of fluxweed to her potion without realising it. Gideon questions whether or not Lily should be testing unknown potions herself, but Lily insists that there is no risk and takes it anyway. She has a bad reaction, causing her to pass out, and when she awakes she is no longer in her own body - she and Gideon have Freaky Friday'd it, and are now in each other's bodies. (scene ongoing)
