Room of Requirement

Scorpius looks up from the book he is reading when he hears a voice. "Faye," he says softly while smiling. "Hi." He sits up so that he doesn't take up the whole couch and hopes that she stays in the room.

Faye continued to walk into the room, hesitantly. She almost turned to leave, but Scorpius' voice reassured her. Carefully, she walked over to the couch and sat down beside him. She looked around at what he had wished the Room to provide, "Looks comfy," She stated, matter of factly. She turned her head towards him and her eyes fixated on the book he was reading, "What are you reading?"

"It's muggle book," he mumbles marking the page that he's at and then closing it. "It's called "Great Expectations", by a guy called Charles Dickens," he answers while lightly tracing the cover with his fingers. "It was on the shelf when I came to the room and seemed interesting."

"That's one of my mom's favorites," Faye muttered, looking down at her hands in her lap, "She used to read it when she was bored. She tried reading it to me as a bedtime story when I was about seven," She shook her head, picking at a thread in her jeans, "It's okay, I guess. Do you like it?" Her hand tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and she turned back to face him, "You don't have to stop reading if you don't want to. I didn't mean to interrupt..."

"No," he says quickly. "I want you to stay, I want to talk to you. I've only talked to one person today, and it wasn't an experience I'd like to repeat. But the book is pretty good so far, I haven't gotten very far yet. It's not a very happy one though."

"No, it's not," Faye shrugged and stared at the book for a moment, "Kind of makes it more realistic." She smiled and leaned back against the couch, glancing around the empty room, "What do you want to talk about?"

[No. Not an experience I'd like to repeat either. O_O ]

[Oh please...you may be head over heels for Krum, but you enjoyed the view]

"Anything," he says while placing the book onto a table. "I feel like I haven't seen you in ages and I've only really talked with Regulus. We can talk about anything."

[I DID, THANKS.]

"Regulus?" Faye froze, forgetting everything else he had said, "You talked to Regulus?" She turned away from him and wanted to grab the cushion beside her and shove her face into it. Why did that kid have to know everyone?!

"Err, well we've talked once or twice," he admits hesitantly, noticing her reaction. "And today we kind of ran into each other while at the showers," he mumbles. "Does, does that bother you? Me talking to him?" he asks noticing her refusal to look at him

"No?" Faye replied and she plastered on a cheesy smile. At his reaction, she rolled her eyes and sighed, "Fine. Maybe, but I'm not going to control who you talk to. You can talk to whoever the hell you want. I don't want to turn into one of the girls who controls everything," She pursed her lips and crossed her legs, "I just - He doesn't like my blood status. And me, in general."

[Is this before or after we're being civil?]

[Hm. We can have it be before?]

"Does he...does he say anything to you?" he asks clenching his left fist and suddenly feeling extremely irritated with Regulus. "Has he been bothering you?"

[Oh. Great. Now he's gonna go after me or something, wonderful.]

"Not recently, no," Faye noticed Scorpius' reaction and immediately reached her hand over, resting hers over his, "It's not that big of a deal. Really. He hasn't been bothering me as of late and, when he does, it only annoys me a little bit," She paused and stared at him, "So... stop thinking about whatever it is you're thinking. Just let it go and let's talk about something else?"

"Alright, fine," he replies sighing. "But let me know if he does bother you again," he says, then turns his hand over underneath hers and gives her hand a squeeze. "So what do you want to talk about? I'm not really good with small talk."

"I'm not the best at small talk either," Faye looked down at their hands, biting her lower lip. After that awkward conversation, she wasn't sure what subject to bring up. She hoped her silence didn't lead to his boredom, "Maybe we shouldn't talk at all. Maybe," She smirked and her free hand reached up to ruffle his hair, "Maybe, we should find something more fun to do."

Scorpius felt his breath catch at the sudden physical contact and what she was implying. "And what do you have in mind Miss Denowitz?" he asked while shifting slightly on the couch bringing himself closer to her.

"Oh, I have no idea," Faye mumbled with a sarcastic tone. Her hand slipped from his and she shook her head, pushing him back against one arm of the couch. She made sure he was laying down, before she moved herself over him. Her hands trailed downwards, but stopped midway, as she leaned over and whispered directly into his ear, "Wait. Are you sure you don't want to just have some small talk?" She held back her laughter, teasing him.

"Oh Merlin," he mumbles at her actions. "Small talk isn't necessary," he manages to say but then grabs her hands. "But don't start anything that will be difficult to stop. My self control is pretty limited right now," he admits.

Faye felt restricted, but complied, "In that case..." She paused, still leaning over him, "...maybe the one with the least self control should take control of this situation," She laughed and moved her hair from her face. She stared down at him for a moment, before one hand moved to his chin, tilting it up towards her. She, then, pressed her lips to his, relaxing herself on top of him.

Scorpius kissed her back eagerly, his tongue running along her bottom lip asking for entrance into her mouth. He placed one of his hands on her hip and the other on the small of her back. The hand that was on her back slowly and softly began to trail upwards, running lightly over her spine. He wanted to flip them over, to take more control of the situation, but was afraid he would end up have them tumbling to the floor if he tried.

Faye pressed herself to him, her skin tingling at his touch. She restrained a giggle, granting his eager tongue entrance. She continued to kiss him, a little rougher each time, enjoying the effect she had on him. The hand that had held his chin, slid upwards and into his hair. The other slid down his chest, but she stopped herself before she went too ahead. She moaned quietly, flushing, and hoped that he hadn't quite noticed.
