The Owlery

Teddy steped forward and pulled Faye into a hug, pulling back only so he could look her in the eyes, "Don't let anything he says get to you. He was just being jealous. Think of all the possible things that could happen now, you're not tied down." He smiled softly, "Just relax and enjoy life. This will all work out for the better."

Faye is slightly surprised when Teddy hugs her, but she doesn't mind it at all. It's quite comforting actually. She smiles and feels the pain slowly disappear. "Jealous, of what?" she asks with a small laugh. She nips her lower lip nervously, feeling the heat rush to her cheeks. Why was Teddy complimenting her after she had acted so...skanky. "Hmm. Things I could do now that I'm not tied down. Can you give me something to work with there?" she teased.

Teddy looked at her with a smile, "Now, what would you be suggesting?" He lowers his arms to break the hug, but realizes he really does like Faye. Maybe he still likes her as more then just a friend, too. And now would be the perfect timing, too. Her and Scorpius were finished with what looked like no hope of getting back together this time. So he stopped his arms when his hands were on her hips and reached up with one hand to brush a stray strand of hair out of her face before he kissed her meaningfully on the lips, all his possible thoughts of Victoire gone.

Faye doesn't even worry about Scorpius when he smiles at her. She doesn't understand why she never saw Teddy this way before. His eyes look exceptionally blue today, she thinks to herself as she finds herself getting lost in them. She remembered when he said that he had liked her, but she had chosen Scorpius. Maybe that had been a mistake. She isn't too certain of what's suddenly come over her and she knows that he's with Victoire, but if he's not stopping then she sure as hell isn't. Her eyes close almost instantly when Teddy kisses her and she leans forward, her lips pressing back against his as she wraps her arms around his neck to pull herself towards him.

Teddy puts one hand through her hair to hold her to him, their bodies seeming to melt together flawlessly. He pushes her up against the wall and leans over, deepening the kiss and all the while thinking thoughts like he never wanted Victoire like this or, Victoire wouldn't kiss him like this. Then his thoughts seemed to register with the rest of him and he came to one startling realization: he was with Victoire. And while his brain screamed that at him, the rest of his body screamed at him to stay here, stay with Faye, just a little longer. So he listened, loving the feel of her arms wrapped around his and her hair tickling his face.

Faye doesn't even care about Victoire or Scorpius or whoever else either one of them might have love connections with. It didn't matter at all because what was happening felt better than she had felt with anyone for so long. Scorpius had been one thing, but she guessed that they had been falling apart for awhile now and that's why this felt much better than anything recent with him. Maybe she had been secretly hiding these feelings for too long. Whatever it was, she didn't care as she parted his lips with her tongue and eased her way into his mouth. She didn't know if Victoire was as experienced at this whole thing and, thus, decided to progress slowly. She couldn't even begin to describe how happy she was that Teddy didn't pull away. Maybe what he had said about the voice in your head was correct. If you didn't hear it, that relationship didn't matter.

Teddy felt her tongue enter his mouth and fingered the hem of her shirt with one hand. Then, suddenly, he dropped both his hands and broke the kiss, making no move to step away. "Faye," He grinned, feeling like laughing but proceeding with caution, "I need to talk to Victoire, alright? Then..." He gestured vaguely with his hand, "I won't be so tied down."

We can talk later or tomorrow, if you want. No big deal.

Faye frowned slightly when he pulled away, but was comforted by the fact that he didn't move away or stop grinning at her. She nodded because she understood and she certainly did not want Teddy to be in the same position she had been in earlier. "Sure, I can wait til after you talk to her. When we're both free from ropes or chains or girlfriends/boyfriends..." she says with a smile.

Teddy smiled, "Chains. Well that's a bit dramatic." He turned around and, with a wave to Faye, walked out of the Owlery to find Victoire and yada yada yada.

"I'm a dramatic person," Faye said with a shrug. She waved and watched him leave, but hung around for a few moments after he left. It wasn't as if she had anywhere else to go.

Luna skips up here where she has a letter waiting for her. Huh. Wonder who it could be from. She opens the envelope and almost faints. Woah. WOAH! Rolf is looking damn good today. Luna quickly tucks the pictures away and skips off to hang them on her wall hide them under her pillow.
