An Abandoned Classroom

"Well her name's Annabelle but we all call her Annie... and she's only 7 so she's a bundle of energy... Annie's a huge quidditch fan and wants to be a seeker when she grows up," Lee smiled, he missed her a lot while he was at Hogwarts but her weekly letters were always great.

Luna smiled as Lee talked about his sister. "She sounds great, Lee. I don't have any siblings, but I've always wanted one."

"She's amazing... I think you'd really like her, and I think she'd like you,"

"Really!? I'd love to meet her one day!"

"I'm sure you will" He hugged her again and reached down to play with the feathers on her dress.

Luna laughs as Lee plays with her dress. "So do you have any pets at home?"

"Well we have the family owl but my only pet is my tarantula... oh and Annie has a puppy but I've never met her... she got her just after I left for school this year... and named her Leia," he grinned and laughed, "I don't know whether to be flattered or insulted."

Luna laughed. "I think they just wanted to name it after someone amazing." She smiled and thought of another question. "If you could go anywhere, where would you go?"

"Well..." he fiddled with the feathers on her dress, "I've always wanted to go to Australia... and Italy... I mean have you seen their Quidditch team?"

"Yeah! They're an awesome team! I like the HolyHead Harpies too! They're my favorite team."

"Well I have to say I've always been a Falmouth Falcons fan," He kissed her on the head, "now, as much as I hate to even consider this, do you think we should head out to rejoin the rest of the castle again?"

Luna smiles. "I guess we should... before they send out the search party."

Lee helped Luna to her feet then got up and un-tranfigured the desks, "Well at least now I can take you back to the common room."

Luna grinned widely. "Yeah, I've missed being in Gryffindor."

Lee opened the door, "Well let's take you home then."

[Okay I'll go post us into the common room]

Remus found the first empty classroom he could and shut the door quietly behind him. He sat down at one of the tables and ran a hand through his hair. Be strong, Lupin. You're doing a good job. Just... His head slumped forward and smacked his forehead on the tabletop. His hands gripped at his hair as he broke down into heavy sobs. Merlin, it tore at him to see her like that. Absolutely tore at him. He was always so worried that one day it would just be too much for her and, she'd give up, or she'd finally snap at him for getting her in this situation in the first place. That, one day, she would wake up and regret this. Remus knew Sirius was wrong when he'd accused Hermione of ruining his, Remus', life but, what if it was the other way around? What if he was ruining her life? What if those nasty parents of hers were right? He knew she loved him and she said she was happy, but, Merlin, how could she not think that things weren't the best right now? And all the crap he'd put her through...and she still had stuck with him. She was too good for him, half the time he didn't feel like he deserved her. And then there was that nasty voice, that stupid evil voice in the back of his head, telling him that what should happen if one day she realized that she could do so much better for herself? It really wasn't any good for him to be thinking these thoughts. He knew they weren't true. Couldn't happen, at least he'd like to think they couldn't happen.
He sat there for a good half hour or so, not too long, cause it generally didn't take him that long to work on essays, and he couldn't bring himself to tell her that he'd sat in an empty classroom for over half an hour just sobbing. It was hard, being strong all the time, but he did it for her because she needed the support. If he was ruining her life, well, then the least he could do was help her through everything.
It wasn't like he regretted this himself. He was thrilled at the idea of being a father, being together forever with the love of his life. He just sometimes regretted that they hadn't been careful enough. They'd be so much more ready for this is it was a couple more years down the road.
He calmed down and wiped the tears off his face. He was pretty sure his eyes were red but the light would be off in her room. It was late and she'd hopefully be asleep, getting rest like he'd told her to. She wouldn't see. He didn't want her to. How could he be strong for her if he was crying himself? It just wouldn't do.
Remus, you are a fool sometimes. You know that? He slid off the chair and left the room, shutting the door quietly behind him.

[Great - now I'm crying XX]

[nuuuuu! you can't cry!!! i'm already crying!! *flails* we'll just cry together then *cries*]

*appears* ohmacheesecakegawd Remus no. Bad thoughts, bad. *his with a rolled up newspaper*


[Pshhh i wish. Remus is so melancholy, lol. -hugs all around-]

[Hermione would feel so freakin' guilty if she could read Remus' thoughts!]

[D: TRISTAN! YOU HIT ME WITH ROLLED UP NEWSPAPER?! *sprays with waterbottle* BAD WOLFY JR.! BAD!]

[D: REMUS!! *wants to hiss but can't since he's a wolfy now, runs off to shake the water on some unsuspecting old biddie..Mrs. Norris*]

[*loves Wolfy Jr.* THAT'S IT. YOU'RE WOLFY JR. NOW. *flails* And we growl, no hissing. ^^]

[OMG YAY WOLFY JR.!!!! -tries to growl menacingly, sounds like a kitten purring- I'LL GET IT. SOMEDAY -runs to practice growling on Mrs. Norris-]
