That's what my aunt told me too. She said you almost have to know the book to see the movie.

-kicks you-
shut up.
It's all Luke's fault we needed more than one book about an insufferable, disrespectful boy like you. Ima kill him.

Re: Percy Jackson
OH cool first to use this in over a month.
SO did y'all know that there is a sequel series about the prophecy Rachel made in The Last Olympian? Um well there is and I read the first book cause it's the only one out so far and it's so fucking amazing and I think that everyone who likes this series should read it. The Lost Hero. Yup that's what it's called.

Re: Percy Jackson
MHM.
Here's the blurb.
Jason has a problem. He doesn’t remember anything before waking up on a school bus holding hands with a girl. Apparently she’s his girlfriend Piper, his best friend is a kid named Leo, and they’re all students in the Wilderness School, a boarding school for “bad kids.” What he did to end up here, Jason has no idea—except that everything seems very wrong.
Piper has a secret. Her father has been missing for three days, and her vivid nightmares reveal that he’s in terrible danger. Now her boyfriend doesn’t recognize her, and when a freak storm and strange creatures attack during a school field trip, she, Jason, and Leo are whisked away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. What is going on?
Leo has a way with tools. His new cabin at Camp Half-Blood is filled with them. Seriously, the place beats Wilderness School hands down, with its weapons training, monsters, and fine-looking girls. What’s troubling is the curse everyone keeps talking about, and that a camper’s gone missing. Weirdest of all, his bunkmates insist they are all—including Leo—related to a god.
Join new and old friends from Camp Half-Blood in this thrilling first book in The Heros of Olympus series. Best selling author Rick Riordan has pumped up the action, humour, suspense, and mystery in an epic adventure that will leave readers panting for the next installment.
THE SECOND ONE DOESN'T COME OUT UNTIL FALL 2011. MY CREYS.

Re: Percy Jackson
The Lost hero is amazing. There was enough of the old world to make you feel like it wasnt left behind, but the new characters were really interesting and different!
